Ensure cost-effective operation of department. Possess knowledge of the revenue aspects of the operation.Ensure tasks are completed within assigned working hours.Minimize linen and terry linen damage by following company procedures for cleaning.Ensure all equipment is well maintained.Attend all meetings, training activities or classes related to assigned position as required.Ensure that personal grooming, appearance, hygiene and uniform are in accordance with company policy.Possess knowledge of USPH Sanitation Standards, and Rules and Regulations.Ensure all equipment in assigned area is in good working condition.Monitor and maintain adherence to policies regarding, but not limited to, cockroach traps, temperature logbook, three bucket system, and chemical labeling.Report Public Health issues within assigned area to the Assistant Housekeeper.Ensure full compliance with USPH regulations.Keep informed of all events and activities on the ship.Handle guest complaints that may occur.Address guests occupying assigned suites using last names.Explain features of the cabins such as TV/DVD/VCR/IPOD, bar, safe, room service system, and services provided.Provide introduction and greet guests boarding in assigned suites during embarkation period.Follow up on guest special requests and gift orders, ensuring effective and prompt service.Collect dirty linen and distribute clean towels, linen, bathrobes, dry cleaning and laundry according to guest requests.Ensure supply of fruits, ice, and soft drinks in all suites.
